EPI History
Event Partners, Inc. was created in August of 2005 with the goal of establishing lasting partnerships with clients. The first client for EPI was Littlejohn Coliseum at Clemson University, where we were managed all paid parking for concerts, as well as football game day access at Littlejohn Coliseum. Clemson University extended EPI duties to include crowd management for all events (concerts, men's and women's basketball) in Littlejohn just two months later. The success of EPI's work in Littlejohn led to crowd management duties for baseball, soccer, football and indoor track. Upon completion of the West End Zone project at Death Valley, EPI was awarded an agreement to provide attendants for the premium seat area on football game day.
From there, EPI continued to grow its client list with business relationships in Anderson, Charleston, Columbia, Greenville and Spartanburg in South Carolina, and Boone, NC. In four years, EPI has grown into a half-million dollar business, including 24-hour talent staffing for ESPN's College Gameday at Littlejohn Coliseum.
EPI Management
EPI Owner, Drew Cawood, is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where he was an intern at the Carolina Coliseum and a manager on the men's basketball team for Coach Eddie Fogler. After graduation, Drew was hired by SMG as an event coordinator at the Richmond Coliseum (VA), where he managed all "front-of-house staff" (ushers, ticket-takers and security) for two years at the Coliseum. After leaving the Coliseum, Drew spent an additional year at Siegel Center on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University.
